Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today I went to a baby shower for my hubby's niece and gave her this:


Lots of oohs and ahhs from the ladies present. I don't know if niece appreciated the handiwork, but others did. I even got a request to make another one like it for the next baby in the family.

The pattern is in a Leisure Arts leaflet called "Snuggle Squares", name of the pattern is "Flowers & Lace".

    That is lovely! I admire your crochet talent. I can crochet a simple triangle shawl, and dishcloths. Anything more complicated than that, and I get hopelessly lost.

    Beautiful!

    I would've appreciated it. I wish more women in my family crocheted/knit for when I have a baby someday. I'll have to make my own mostly but it means so much when you can tell the child who made it for them.
