Mom's kidneys finally kicked in. That was one of the main worries. The lab results indicated she wasn't contagious. However, she still has the diarrhea which doesn't seem to be lessening any.
Over the weekend, they started treating her for a urinary infection, which probably helped start her kidneys.
At noon today she was scheduled for a colonoscopy. Hopefully I'll know the results by the end of the day.

Glad to hear she is responding with kidney function now. Hope they will have good news after the procedure today.

ReplyDeleteI had a colon scopy wed. went well. I had several bad infections last fall-was in the hospital 3 days. had an ecoli infection and passed a gallstone. had gallbladder surgery a month later.
Tel your Mom hi and get well quick.
