The update for my Magellan GPS came today.
This is what the screen looks like when it's being updated:
According to their software, it takes about 2 hours to update. Then the maps will hopefully be current!

I LOVE my Garmin GPS. I even took it on my train trip, and it was a lot of fun seeing where I was, when there was nothing to see out the train window but sweeping plains.
